(Written by Pamela) I became involved with PRADSA during the second part of the 2007-2009 workshops.

I met some people there who I had previously only known online, such as Andy Dearden (who, with Ann Light, was the leader of PRADSA). Others I met for the first time at PRADSA, but later collaborated with in other ways - most notably Marcus Simmons, and Steve Thompson.

I learned a lot by contributing to the PRADSA workshops, especially the work of others (incuding academics), insights into the problems faced by funders, and affirmation that "patterns" i had observed in UK-Nigeria cross-cultural collaborations did hold true elsewhere (illustrated by a collaborative poster produced with Andy Dearden).
