Hi Pam

Thanks for the long reply and please convey my thanks to Andy for his thoughts on how the open letter section should look and feel.

Over the past five hours, I have not been able to open the site. So I had no other choice but to take a look at the cached versions of the site (which takes time to download).

Anyway, to move on with things, I decided to keep hustling into the site through the cache versions and read whatever I could lay my eyes on.

Hi Vijay

I'm glad you like the idea of the website as our "reception area", and the fact that it will link through to the "back offices". I can understand your confusion about Dadamac. I believe that as the reception area begins to link up better with the "back offices" things will become clearer. Meanwhile your questions will help me to know what I should try to collect from the "back offices" for people to see when they first "arrive here".

Your questions and observations are all very useful. Thanks too for mentioning that you got the "Oops page". This is helpful feedback, I will let our tech people know.

Thanks for your reply.

I am able to access the site now more easily, although I got an OOPs! page twice when I clicked on the Dadamac url.

Thanks, your answers gave me a good idea of how the site will evolve over a period of time. I liked the concept of a reception area, which will link up to various ‘back offices’ of the site. You rightly said that Dadamac will be driven by the interests and energy of the community.
